It seems like the more resources that are added to the Internet, the more we see organizational tools to handle all those resources. We talk in terms as if all our students have computers in and outside of the classroom. As Jeff mentioned one day, we are being trained for the future, when this may well be the case.
You're absolutely right. At this point in time, it's not appropriate for us to assume that all our students and/or school sites will have access to technology. It's something that we definitely have to be prepared to accommodate for in our lesson planning.
However, I believe that we should explore the use of technology in the classroom so that we can introduce our students to it and allow them to explore whenever the opportunity is available.
