20% Project: First Prompt Brainstorm

9/3/2015

I've officially chosen my first prompt from the book!  The prompt is:

"List five cultural events that impacted you greatly.  Then write about one of them without mentioning yourself."

I ended up doing a bit of a brainstorm about my experiences teaching and living in Korea.

Sorry if it's a little messy, I was writing things down as they came to me.  I figured this was the perfect topic to start out with since it's still something that is still very vivid in my memory.

My question is, which topic would YOU be most interested in reading about?  I can't seem to decide which of these I would like to expand upon more.  I would greatly appreciate it if you, my lovely cohort, could list one or two of the listed topics that you find most intriguing!

Thanks for the help!  I'm looking forward to hearing your opinions :)

How about the one about "Missing the little things" and you can take that where you want and get deep about the world around us and how the world can cause us to forget the little things where they may be the most important? Just a thought!

Funny quotes from students would be really interesting especially if you maybe contrasted the quotes the korean students said with some of the funny things that American students have said. It would be interesting to see how the two cultures compare in terms of education and how they view it!

I think funny quotes from students, memories from the classroom, or little things that you miss would be interesting to read!
